PYP Swedish as a Second Language Specialist Teacher for students age 8 to 11

Substitute position, 50%, 1 year

Qualification and experience

• Teacher certification and preferably a minimum of two years teaching experience
• Experience teaching Swedish as a Second Language
• Ability to plan, teach and develop Swedish language curriculum within the standards and practices of the PYP framework
• Ability to deliver differentiated lessons to a diverse and multicultural student body
• Strong classroom and behaviour management strategies
• Flexibility and strong collaborative skills within and between departments, across different year groups
• Preferably previous IB PYP teaching experience
• Effective organisational skills for planning and documentation, including time management and proficiency in IT
• High proficiency in English, language of workplace and documentation is in English
