ISLK is an authorized IB World School offering the Early Years Programme (EYP), the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Middle Years Programme (MYP) to students from 3- 15/16 years of age. The language of instruction is English with courses being taught by highly qualified pedagogues with IB training and support. The focus is on developing intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills so students can live, learn, work and succeed in a rapidly changing world.

The job can start 12 months probation time.

Arbetsuppgifter

Teach and provide planning following the IB MYP curriculum model, using an inquiry conceptual-based approach in teaching and learning. Work closely within the standards and practices of the IB MYP framework. Work in collaboration with other schools: scheduling, hosting of events etc. Subject leader of the PHE department. Role model the IB Learner profile and mission statement. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Vi söker dig som

Excellent communication and organizational skills. Certified P.E. teacher and excellent teaching skills.

Experience is required.
Knowledge of the IB MYP is desired. IB Work shop leader and IB BQC experience is desired. Subject leader experience is desired.

Attitudes and skills required for a cross-cultural environment. Enthusiasm and commitment to the IB concept. Native English is desired.
