About us
ISLK - International School of Lund is an IB World School authorized to teach the IB Primary Years Programme and the Middle Years Programme. Job description
Collaborate and plan closely with the class teachers to develop a play- and inquiry based learning environment for students 5-6 years old which promotes student agency. To have a holistic view of the students' school day and take responsibility for the after school programme and contribute to a well planned and smooth transition. Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Pre-school teacher or equivalent.
Experience
Worked with 5-6 year-olds in a school setting. Experience of play- and inquiry based teaching and learning. Experience of planning and documenting the work. Leading the after school activites and provide a creative, structured and safe environment. A plus if you have worked in an IB School and/ or in a Swedish pre-School class.
Requirements
Attitudes and skills for a cross Culture Environment. Very good communicative, organizational and collaborative skills. Create excellent relationships with students, staff and colleagues based on mutual respect. Excellent digital skills in daily work. The applicant needs to take initiative, be flexible and secure in the professional role. Working language is English.
